Two years ago, I was at my highest weight, 185 lbs. I was feeling tired all the time so I had an examination by my primary doctor. After the exam, I was told that I was pre-diabetic and needed to make an appointment with dietitian and nutritionist Anne Till. Immediately, Mrs. Till started to educate me on how my body worked and how the food and sugars that I had been eating was really affecting my health. I schedule my appointments every 2 weeks so I can be accountable for the way I eat and exercise. At first, it was a struggle for me to change my eating habits because I loved sweets and sugary drinks. I can honestly say that I have cut those out of my diet and I am now eating more fruits, vegetables, and drinking more water. I told Mrs. Till that I would love to come to her office for the rest of my life!! I am blessed to have a nutritionist who really cares about my overall health and who spends every moment of my session giving me her honest opinion and educating me. I am happy to say that I have lost over 20 lbs and my personal goal is to loose 10 more pounds. I have NEVER been told that I must be on a diet and this has helped with my mindset. My A1c numbers are much lower now (in the normal range now) and I feel so much better. My friends are always complimenting me on the weight lost and of course I always refer them to Anne Till!!!
